About US

In 2006, the ‘Bundi Sand Stone Mines Owner Vikas Samiti’ came into existence through the collective efforts of mine owners in the Dabi region of Bundi district, united by a shared vision of environmental protection and forest conservation. Over the years, this committee has made significant contributions to these causes, having meticulously planted trees and ensuring their well-being. Their annual objective of planting 10,000 trees is consistently achieved during the monsoon season. Leading the committee are esteemed individuals such as Mr. Surajmal Ji Bansal (Chairman), Mr. Ashok Ji Jain (Secretary), Mr. Newalal Ji Gurjar (Vice Chairman), and Mr. Vishwanath Ji Sharma (Vice Chairman). Advisors include Shambhu Lal Ji Solanki and Yuvraj Ji Rathod. The committee boasts approximately 700 dedicated mine owners who play a pivotal role in tree planting and environmental preservation efforts.

Moreover, the committee has appointed Mr. Suresh Kumar Bairagi as the supervisor responsible for tree planting and ongoing care. Mr. Bairagi and his team diligently attend to the daily needs of these plants, shielding them from wildlife and ensuring year-round irrigation. Over the span of 16 years, the committee has successfully planted approximately 120,000 saplings, which have now matured into thriving trees. In addition to its tree-planting initiatives, the committee actively fulfills its social responsibilities by making substantial contributions to various community endeavors. These include supporting education and healthcare for children in underserved areas and villages nearby. Their philanthropic work extends to providing essential facilities, such as school toilets, clothing for disadvantaged students, and the distribution of food packets to those in need.

The committee is also responsive to the needs of local schools, where they provide amenities like water coolers, fans, and coolers for students during the scorching summer months. They extend their benevolent work to local hospitals, arranging coolers and access to clean drinking water. Additionally, the committee organizes health awareness camps to protect the community from seasonal diseases and promote well-being. This dedicated committee has been serving the Dabi area of Bundi for the past 16 years, actively engaging in both forest conservation and a wide array of impactful social welfare projects.
